Unigears have been manufacturing precision cut power
transmission products in the UK for more than 40 years,
and have built a reputation for engineering excellence
with total commitment to quality, service and technological
expertise, and since March 2006 are now a registered
and certified ISO 9001-2000 company.

Formed in 1960 as Unigears Limited, the company
traded successfully under several parent companies,
including Unified Precision Engineering Limited, Purdy
Machinery Limited and GEI International, before being
purchased by its current management team in June
1999 and becoming Unigears (Ashford) Limited.
